Mike Rotunda
Lawrence Michael Rotunda, known in the wrestling world as Irwin R. Schyster or I.R.S., is a retired American professional wrestler with a notable career spanning several decades. Rotunda made a significant impact in the wrestling industry, particularly during his time with WWE, where he currently serves as a road agent and occasionally appears in character as I.R.S., a persona cleverly inspired by the Internal Revenue Service.
In the summer of 2000, Rotunda joined All Japan Pro Wrestling, reuniting with "Dr. Death" Steve Williams to reform the Varsity Club. The duo achieved success by winning the 2000 World's Strongest Tag Determination League and contending for the World Tag Team Championship the following year. After a brief return to New Japan Pro Wrestling, Rotunda concluded his wrestling career in 2004 to focus on running a security business with his wife.
However, his connection to the wrestling world remained strong, as WWE re-signed him as a road agent in 2006. He made memorable appearances, including a notable segment on WWE Raw in 2007, where he humorously revealed himself to Mr. McMahon during a discussion about tax issues. Rotunda also participated in various segments, including a Battle Royal on the 15th Anniversary of Raw and pricing games on the show.
On the personal front, Rotunda is married to Stephanie Rotunda, whose family has deep wrestling roots. They have three children, two of whom, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, have made their mark as professional wrestlers in WWE. The family continues to thrive, with Rotunda enjoying the roles of father and grandfather.
