She gained recognition in the 1960s as one of the world's most beautiful women and became a celebrated sex symbol in France during the 1970s. Her notable debut came in 1967 when she starred alongside her then-husband, Alain Delon, in the acclaimed neo-noir film "Le Samouraï," directed by Jean-Pierre Melville. This film not only established her acting credentials but also solidified their status as a glamorous couple of the era.
