George Buck Flower
George Buck Flower (October 28, 1937 – June 18, 2004) was a multifaceted American talent recognized for his work as an actor, writer, producer, assistant director, production manager, and casting director. He was known by various names throughout his career, including Buck Flower, George "Buck" Flower, and C.D. LaFleur, among others.
With his rugged appearance, Flower frequently portrayed down-and-out characters, such as drunks or homeless individuals. His notable collaboration with director John Carpenter led to cameo appearances in many of Carpenter's films during the 1980s, showcasing his ability to leave a memorable mark on the screen.
Beyond his cinematic contributions, Flower was also the father of actress and costume designer Verkina Flower, highlighting his influence on the next generation of creative talent. Tragically, George Buck Flower lost his battle with cancer at the age of 66, passing away on June 18, 2004.
