LaRoyce Hawkins
LaRoyce Hawkins is a talented actor known for his work in television, film, and theater. Hailing from Harvey, Illinois, in the Chicago South Suburbs, he was raised by his mother, Leah Bradley, and his father, Leonard Hawkins.
His journey into the world of acting began at Thornton High School, where he developed a passion for both acting and stand-up comedy. This passion propelled him to Illinois State University, where he earned a full-tuition scholarship and pursued a degree in Acting.
In addition to his acting career, LaRoyce is deeply committed to his community. He dedicates his free time to mentoring students in middle and high schools, sharing his experiences and encouraging young people who face similar challenges he once did.
LaRoyce's acting career took off when he portrayed Art Baker in the acclaimed film The Express. He has since made notable appearances in popular television series such as House of Payne, Detroit 187, and UnderEmployed. His breakout role came as a series regular in Dick Wolf’s hit series Chicago PD, where he quickly gained recognition. He also recurs on Chicago Fire and has appeared in Mark Wahlberg's HBO series, Ballers. Through these roles, LaRoyce Hawkins has established himself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
