Little Simz

Simbiatu "Simbi" Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, known professionally as Little Simz, was born on February 23, 1994. Hailing from a British-Nigerian background with Yoruba roots, she has carved a niche for herself as a talented rapper, singer, and actress. Little Simz launched her music career with a series of four mixtapes and five EPs, culminating in the release of her debut album, *A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons*, on September 18, 2015, under her independent label, AGE: 101 Music. This album marked her entry into the music scene, debuting at number 20 on the UK R&B Albums Chart and number 43 on the UK Independent Albums Chart.

In 2016, she followed up with her sophomore album, *Stillness in Wonderland*. However, it was her third studio album, *Grey Area*, released in 2019, that truly elevated her status in the industry. The album garnered critical acclaim, earning the title of Best Album at both the Ivor Novello Awards and the NME Awards, and it was also nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize. Her fourth studio album, *Sometimes I Might Be Introvert*, released in 2021, further solidified her reputation as a powerful voice in contemporary music, receiving widespread praise from critics and fans alike.
