Lisa Darr, born on April 21, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, is a distinguished American actress known for her dynamic roles across television and film. The daughter of Mollie, a talented actress, and Karl Grabemann, a lawyer, she pursued her education at Stanford University, earning a degree in Biology in 1985, before honing her craft with an MFA in Acting from UCLA.

Darr gained recognition for her portrayal of Annie Whitman in the ABC series *Life As We Know It*. She previously captivated audiences as Jane McPherson in the WB's *Popular* and showcased her talents in the critically acclaimed Fox series *Profit*, where she played Gail Koner. A significant highlight of her career was her role as Laurie Manning in the fifth season of *Ellen*, marking one of the first openly gay relationships depicted in a major American television series.
