Üllar Saaremäe

Üllar Saaremäe, born on November 23, 1969, in Estonia, is a multifaceted artist known for his work as an actor, director, politician, and punk musician. He shares his life with actress Tiina Mälberg, with whom he has two children, Karl Robert and Marii Ingriin.

Saaremäe's contributions to the arts are significant; he was the visionary behind the Estonian Punk Song Festival in 2008, an initiative that celebrated the punk music genre in Estonia. His efforts in organizing this festival earned him the prestigious Estonian Volunteer of the Year award, highlighting his dedication to the cultural landscape of his country.

In addition to his artistic pursuits, Saaremäe has made his mark in the political arena. A member of the conservative Pro Patria party, he served on the Rakvere City Council from 2009 to 2013. His political career continued as he was elected to the Kadrina Rural Municipality Council from 2017 to 2018. Since 2019, he has represented the Lääne-Viru County electoral district in the 14th Riigikogu, contributing to the legislative process in Estonia.
