Julia Whelan
Julia May Whelan, born on May 8, 1984, is an accomplished American actress, audiobook narrator, and author. She gained prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s for her portrayal of Grace Manning in the acclaimed family drama series *Once and Again*, which aired from 1999 to 2002. Whelan also starred in the Lifetime film *The Secret Life of Zoey* in 2002. Beginning her on-screen career at just 11 years old, she continued to take on various television roles until she enrolled at Middlebury College in 2004. Whelan graduated magna cum laude in 2008 and spent a year studying at Lincoln College, Oxford during the 2006–2007 academic year.
In November 2008, Whelan made her return to acting with a role in the fantasy thriller *Fading of the Cries*. However, in the following decade, she shifted her focus to audiobook narration, a field in which she has excelled, having narrated over 400 audiobooks as of July 2022. In addition to her narration work, Whelan debuted as an author with her novel *My Oxford Year*, published in 2018, which received critical acclaim. Her diverse talents and contributions to both literature and audio media have established her as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
