Xu Qing

Xu Qing, born on January 22, 1969, is a prominent Chinese actress known for her versatile performances across film and television. She began her journey in the arts by enrolling in the acting program at the Beijing Film Academy in 1988. Xu made her cinematic debut in 1990 with the critically acclaimed film "Life on a String," directed by renowned filmmaker Chen Kaige. After graduating from the academy in 1992, she gained significant recognition, earning a nomination for the prestigious Hundred Flowers Award for Best Actress the same year.

In 2009, Xu Qing's career took a new turn when she signed with the well-known talent agency Huayi Brothers on November 30. That year, she portrayed the iconic figure Soong Ching-ling in the historical drama "The Founding of a Republic," further solidifying her status in the industry.
