Kelly Curtis

Kelly Lee Curtis, born on June 17, 1956, is an accomplished American actress celebrated for her performances in both film and television. She made her debut as a child in the 1958 action-adventure film The Vikings, which also featured her famous parents, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. Following her parents' divorce in 1962, Kelly grew up alongside her sister, actress Jamie Lee Curtis, and her four half-siblings from her father's subsequent marriages.

Curtis pursued higher education at Skidmore College in New York, earning a degree in Business in 1978 before briefly working as a stockbroker. She later honed her acting skills at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, which paved the way for her successful career in the entertainment industry. Notable works include her roles in the comedy Magic Sticks (1987) and the horror film The Devil's Daughter (1991). Critics praised her performance in the play Say Goodnight, Gracie, highlighting her ability to deliver poignant monologues with authenticity.

In 1989, Kelly married playwright Scott Morfee, and they collaborated on various projects, including the musical Shout and Twist. She also appeared as Lieutenant Carolyn Plummer in the first season of the crime series The Sentinel (1996) and had guest spots on shows such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Judging Amy. Beyond acting, she has contributed as an assistant on films like Freaky Friday and You Again. As of 1990, Curtis has resided in Long Island, New York, with her husband.
