Jonathan Freeman, born on February 5, 1950, is a versatile American actor, puppeteer, and singer renowned for his iconic voice work as Jafar in Disney's Aladdin franchise. His portrayal of the beloved villain spans across four animated films, eight video games—including the popular Kingdom Hearts series—an animated television series called House of Mouse, and a Broadway musical adaptation in 2011, among various other Aladdin-related projects.

In addition to his work in the Disney universe, Freeman's film career includes roles in notable works such as Forever, Lulu (1987), The Ice Storm (1997), and The High Note (2020).
