Pierre Niney, born on March 13, 1989, in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, is an accomplished French actor renowned for his versatility and talent. Niney embarked on his acting journey with the two-part miniseries "La dame d'Izieu" in 2007, shortly after completing his studies at the prestigious Cours Florent drama school. He quickly made a mark in the film industry with roles in productions such as "LOL (Lots of Laughs)" (2008), "The Army of Crime" (2009), and "Romantics Anonymous" (2010).

His career reached new heights in 2014 when he portrayed iconic fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in the biopic directed by Jalil Lespert. This performance earned him the César Award for Best Actor, marking a significant milestone in his career and showcasing his ability to bring complex characters to life.

Outside of his professional life, Niney has been in a long-term relationship with Australian actress and photographer Natasha Andrews since 2008, and they share two daughters, born in 2017 and 2019.
