Ahmed Mawas

Ahmed Mawas was born in London, England, and spent his formative years in both Ghana and Lebanon before moving to the United States. He pursued higher education at the University of Minnesota, where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Mawas initially found success as a model, featuring prominently in commercial and print campaigns for recognized brands such as Target, EcoLab, and Best Buy.

Eager to transition into the entertainment industry, he moved to Los Angeles, where he refined his acting skills at the prestigious Howard Fine Acting Studio. His talent soon landed him roles in popular streaming series, including Netflix’s “The Recruit” and “Human Resources,” as well as Amazon Prime’s “The Terminal List.” Additionally, he made a notable appearance in the feature film "The Misfits," directed by Renny Harlin and starring Pierce Brosnan.

Looking ahead, Mawas will star alongside Rachael Leigh Cook in the Hallmark Channel’s holiday film "Rescuing Christmas," set to premiere on December 7, 2023. His recent commercial work includes high-profile spots for GMC, Anytime Fitness, and a prominent Super Bowl commercial for Verizon, further establishing his presence in both the acting and modeling realms.
