Stefanie Butler
Stefanie Butler is a talented actress known for her work in film and television, hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up, she spent much of her childhood immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of baseball stadiums across the nation, where she and her siblings would perform impromptu shows, often inspired by their favorite stories like The Little Mermaid. This early exposure ignited her passion for storytelling and performance.
In 2002, Stefanie made the significant move to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams, earning a degree in Theater from Pepperdine University. She officially launched her acting career in 2006 and has since participated in a diverse array of projects. Notable roles include her performances in the independent films I Remember You and Car Dogs alongside Patrick J. Adams in 2014. She has also made appearances in popular TV series such as CSI: NY, Shark, Rizzoli & Isles, and Mob City, created by Frank Darabont. Her film debut came in the biographical film Billy: The Early Years, where she portrayed Ruth Graham opposite Armie Hammer.
More recently, Stefanie joined the cast of the acclaimed series Stranger Things, taking on the role of Cynthia, the assertive girlfriend of Lonnie. Additionally, she has featured in several national advertising campaigns for well-known brands like Burger King, Jeep, Pizza Hut, and Toyota. In recent years, Stefanie has expanded her creative horizons into writing, producing several short films, two feature-length scripts, and currently working on a children's book. Her screenplay, The Silent Queen, completed in 2014, draws from her Irish heritage, telling the tale of a queen kidnapped by Vikings faced with an impossible choice.
