Richard Bernard is a versatile actor and accomplished multi-instrumentalist recognized for his presence in playful commercials where he showcases unique instruments such as the Contra Bass Balalaika, Bouzouki, Sitar, and Didgeridoo. His filmography includes notable titles like *Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull*, *Iron Man*, and the Oscar-winning *The Artist*, along with memorable appearances in TV series such as *Gilmore Girls* and *Monk*.

Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Richard's musical journey began at the tender age of 13 in rural Georgia, where he performed alongside rockabilly legends like Jerry Lee Lewis. After completing his BFA in Theatre at the University of Georgia, he moved to Atlanta, co-founding a "black consciousness raising theater" group with Samuel L. Jackson, often taking on villainous roles. His career took off in Los Angeles, where he starred on NBC's *Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters* while leading a trio at the Bonaventure Hotel.

Richard has collaborated with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and played the Orchestra Conductor in United Airlines commercials, reaching wide audiences.
