Jewelle Colwell

1 title Acting Alberta, Canada

Jewelle Colwell, originally from Alberta and raised in West Germany, embarked on her artistic journey in Canada when she secured the leading role in a school production of "Anne of Green Gables" after auditioning for a minor part. Her passion for performance led her to take film acting classes in her teenage years, where she garnered enthusiastic responses for her contributions with various dynamic theatre groups.

In her pursuit to inspire positive change through storytelling, Jewelle produced a CD titled "Hidden Utopia," featuring seven self-written and produced tracks. In 2010, she enhanced her filmmaking skills through a focused apprenticeship, which notably contributed to the creation of the series "Poker Girls." This series was honored with a nomination for Best TV Pilot at the Banff World Media Festival in 2011. Eventually rebranded and recast, the series is now known as "Bluff."

Beyond her work in television, Jewelle launched "UnCaged," a lifestyle series tailored for outdoor motorcycle enthusiasts, with her husband, Rob Colwell, as the show's host. Despite her diverse accomplishments, Jewelle's true passion lies in acting, where she thrives by immersing herself in the myriad of characters she portrays, bringing each role to life with authenticity and enthusiasm.
