Ashlie Rhey

Actress and comedian Ashlie Rhey hails from Wheeling, West Virginia, but spent her formative years in Navarre, Ohio, where she graduated from Fairless High School in 1979. Her journey into the entertainment industry began unexpectedly while she was modeling with Wilhelmina Models, which paved the way for her first acting opportunities.

After modeling across Europe, Ashlie returned to the West Coast to focus on her acting career. She caught her big break when her theatrical agent submitted her for a casting call from Playboy, leading to her featuring in seven newsstand specials and a pictorial for Playboy Australia. This success opened doors to various film and television roles for Playboy Enterprises.

In addition to her acting, Ashlie has had a diverse career behind the scenes, working as a hand model and body double. She brought life to iconic images, including portraying the Pillsbury Doughboy and serving as the hands for supermodels like Rachel Hunter and Niki Taylor in commercials. Notably, she doubled for actresses such as Kelly Lynch and Sarah Jessica Parker on movie posters.

In 1992, Ashlie gained recognition for her role as Shannon Thornton in the Telly Award-winning soap opera *Secrets.* She starred in the independent horror film *The Summoned* (1992) and headlined *Bikini Drive-In* (1995).
