Gua Ah-leh

Grace Gua Ah-leh (歸亞蕾) is a celebrated Taiwanese actress and singer, born on June 2, 1944, in China. She pursued her passion for acting at the National Taiwan University of Arts, where she honed her craft. Gua's professional acting career commenced in 1965 with her debut in "The Rain of Sorrow" (煙雨濛濛), a performance that not only captivated audiences but also earned her the prestigious Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress, marking her as the youngest recipient of this honor in the awards' history.

Her remarkable talent was further recognized when she won her second Golden Horse for Best Leading Actress the following year for her role in "Home, Sweet Home" (家在台北). Gua's versatility as an actress continued to shine when she received the Best Supporting Actress award in 1978 for her impactful performance in "The Diary of Didi" (蒂蒂日記).
