Edwige Feuillère
Edwige Feuillère, originally named Edwige Louise Caroline Cunatti, was a prominent French actress whose career spanned over six decades. Born on October 29, 1907, to an Italian architect father and a mother from Alsace, Edwige spent much of her youth in Dijon, France. In 1931, she married fellow actor Pierre Feuillère, although the couple separated just two years later in 1933. Nevertheless, she chose to retain his last name throughout her illustrious career.
Feuillère made her acting debut in 1931 and quickly established herself as a versatile performer in both stage and film. She became known for her compelling portrayals and captivating presence, which earned her acclaim in the French entertainment industry. Notable for her work in films such as "La Dame aux Camélias" (1946) and "Les Déracinés" (1958), she showcased her remarkable talent in a variety of roles across different genres.
