Billy Blair, hailing from El Paso, Texas, has music and performance woven into his very essence. With a familial connection to the iconic Edgar Allan Poe, he was inspired to pursue the arts from an early age, captivated by the vibrant worlds of Sesame Street and the electrifying band KISS. His musical lineage runs deep, with a great grandfather who once led a big band in early 20th century Mexico, entertaining notable figures like Pancho Villa, and a host of uncles and cousins who also made their mark in big bands and orchestras.
Throughout his life, Billy has immersed himself in the music scene, journeying across the nation as a member of various bands, and gracing stages in clubs, theaters, and amphitheaters. He has had the privilege of opening for some of rock's most celebrated acts, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
In the mid-1990s, Billy transitioned to acting, honing his craft at Richland College in Richardson, Texas, and studying under some of the best acting coaches in the state. He began to build an impressive portfolio through roles in independent films and landed a spot in a national commercial. His film career includes appearances in notable projects such as "Jonah Hex" alongside Josh Brolin, and he gained recognition for his performances in "The Last Stand" with Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as Robert Rodriguez's "Machete," "Machete Kills," and "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." Billy Blair continues to blend his passions for music and acting, leaving an indelible mark on both industries.
