Nurhan made her acting debut in the 1950 film "Parmaksız Salih," marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the film industry. Over the years, she graced the screen in numerous significant films, including "Bu Vatanın Çocukları," "Düşman Yolları Kesti," and the critically acclaimed "Yılanların Öcü," where she starred alongside Fikret Hakan in 1962. Her versatility as an actress shone through in notable works such as "Bozuk Düzen," "Son Kuşlar," "Kanun Benim," and "Yaprak Dökümü."

Among her most cherished films are "Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım" and "Maden," both of which showcased her talent and contributed to her legacy in Turkish cinema.
