Sean Combs
Sean Love Combs, born Sean John Combs on November 4, 1969, in New York City, is a multifaceted American rapper, actor, record producer, and music executive, widely recognized by his stage names Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, and Diddy. He began his career as a talent director at Uptown Records before establishing his own label, Bad Boy Records, in 1993. Combs played a pivotal role in launching the careers of iconic artists such as the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher.
His debut album, "No Way Out," released in 1997, achieved remarkable success, earning a seven-times platinum certification. Following this, he released several more albums, including "Forever" (1999), "The Saga Continues..." (2001), and "Press Play" (2006), all of which enjoyed commercial acclaim. In 2009, Combs formed the group Diddy – Dirty Money, whose debut album, "Last Train to Paris," hit the shelves in 2010.
Throughout his career, Combs has garnered three Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards and is recognized for producing the series "MTV's Making the Band." By 2022, Forbes estimated his net worth at an impressive $1 billion. In addition to music, he launched the Sean John clothing line in 1998 and received the CFDA Award for Menswear Designer of the Year in 2004, having been nominated previously in 2000.
