Roger Rose is an acclaimed American voice actor and former VJ for VH1, celebrated for his extensive contributions to animated television. He has lent his voice to numerous beloved cartoons, including *Happy Feet*, *Rugrats*, *Scooby-Doo*, *The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy*, and *Quack Pack*. His narration work can also be heard in various documentaries on Animal Planet.

Born in Wilmette, Illinois, Roger comes from a family steeped in media; his father, Hilly Rose, was a notable radio host in Los Angeles, while his mother, Sondra B. Gair, made her mark as a pioneering radio interviewer with Chicago Public Radio. Roger’s brother, Judd Rose, is associated with NBC. His voice acting career took off in 1962 with a role in the original *Jetsons* series, and he made his live-action debut in an episode of *Buck Rogers in the 25th Century*. In 2004, he auditioned at Rod Roddy's podium and became the announcer for *The Price Is Right*, commemorating the show's 6000th episode.

In addition to his voice work, Roger appeared in the film *Ski Patrol* (1990) and produced and starred in *Comic Book: The Movie* (2004). His video game credits include voicing characters in *Viewtiful Joe* and various roles in *Zatch Bell!*. He continues to provide voiceovers for major television network promos and has done impressions of David Letterman for animated shows like *Tiny Toons* and *Animaniacs*. Most recently, he voiced Doctor Strange on *The Super Hero Squad Show* and Superman on *Batman: The Brave and the Bold*.

Roger enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife, two daughters, and their pets, including two cats named Charlie and Oliver, and a dog named Lenny. He also makes appearances on WLS-TV in Chicago.
