Shera Danese, born on October 9, 1949, in Hartsdale, New York, is an accomplished American actress renowned for her extensive work in television and film. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 m), Danese embarked on her acting journey in 1976 with a guest appearance in the beloved sitcom *One Day at a Time*. Over the years, she showcased her talent in a variety of notable television shows, including *Serpico*, *Baretta*, *Three's Company*, *Kojak*, *Family*, *Hart to Hart*, *Starsky and Hutch*, and *Charlie's Angels*.

One of her memorable film roles came in 1983 when she portrayed a prostitute named Vicky in the iconic film *Risky Business*, which starred Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay.

Danese is particularly recognized for her significant involvement in the *Columbo* series, appearing in three of the six episodes she featured in. Although she was never cast as the murderer, she played a pivotal role in the planning of the crime in the 25th Anniversary movie, *A Trace of Murder*.
