Shera Danese

Shera Danese, born on October 9, 1949, in Hartsdale, New York, is an accomplished American actress renowned for her extensive work in television and film. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 m), Danese embarked on her acting journey in 1976 with a guest appearance in the beloved sitcom *One Day at a Time*. Over the years, she showcased her talent in a variety of notable television shows, including *Serpico*, *Baretta*, *Three's Company*, *Kojak*, *Family*, *Hart to Hart*, *Starsky and Hutch*, and *Charlie's Angels*.

One of her memorable film roles came in 1983 when she portrayed a prostitute named Vicky in the iconic film *Risky Business*, which starred Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay.

Danese is particularly recognized for her significant involvement in the *Columbo* series, appearing in three of the six episodes she featured in. Although she was never cast as the murderer, she played a pivotal role in the planning of the crime in the 25th Anniversary movie, *A Trace of Murder*. Notably, she holds the record for appearing in more *Columbo* episodes than any other actress.

Her personal life intertwined with her professional one when she met the show's star, Peter Falk. The couple married on December 7, 1977, and remained together for nearly 34 years until Falk's passing on June 23, 2011, at the age of 83.
