Yang Fang

Yang Fang, originally named Yang Guangxi, was born in 1943 in Sichuan, China, and spent his formative years in Taiwan. He pursued his passion for the performing arts at the National Film & Theater College, where he honed his craft. In 1966, Yang Fang joined the prestigious Shaw Brothers Studio, marking the beginning of a remarkable career in film. His breakout role came in the 1967 film *My Dream Boat*, which catapulted him into the limelight and established him as a prominent figure in the industry.

Throughout his career, Yang Fang starred in a variety of notable films, including *When The Clouds Roll By*, *Torrent Of Desire*, and *Love Song Over The Sea*. These works not only showcased his versatility as an actor but also contributed significantly to the Hong Kong cinema landscape during the 1960s and 1970s. After fulfilling his contract with Shaw Brothers in 1970, Yang returned to Taiwan to further develop his acting career, continuing to leave a lasting impact on audiences with his performances.
