Max Weinberg
Max Weinberg is best known as the dynamic drummer for Bruce Springsteen's iconic E Street Band. His legendary snare drum, famously used during the "Born In The USA" tour and affectionately referred to as "The Big Beat," is proudly displayed at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City. In 1990, Max ventured into the music industry by founding his own record label and production company, Hard Ticket Entertainment, through which he produced albums for artist Killer Joe.
In recent years, Max expanded his musical repertoire by releasing "Let There Be Drums," a comprehensive 3-CD collection featuring his favorite drum tracks spanning the 1950s to the 1970s. Alongside his work in the studio, Max has also made a name for himself as the band leader of The Max Weinberg 7, which gained popularity on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" starting in 1993. He notably took a hiatus from the late-night show to join Springsteen and the E Street Band on tour, underlining his dedication to both his band and his fans.
Currently, Max resides in Middletown, New Jersey, with his wife Becky and their two children, continuing to influence the world of music both as a performer and producer. His contributions to the music industry are celebrated and recognized by fans and peers alike.
