Panagiota Vlanti

Panagiota Vlanti, born on March 28, 1969, in Athens, Greece, is a prominent actress known for her extensive work in television and theater. She began her journey into acting at the young age of 16 with roles in the films "Girls for... a Pinch" and "Radio-Heels," which ignited her passion for the craft. After completing her studies at Theodosiadis Drama School in 1993, Vlanti made her television debut a year later with minor roles in "The Unknown" and "Love and Passion."

Her big break came during the 1994-1995 season when she gained recognition for her role in the series "I Lygeri." This led to further success with notable appearances in acclaimed shows such as "Bios Anthospartos," "Eroica," and "Aerines Siopes." From 2000 to 2002, she featured in the series "Kokkinos Kyklos," showcasing her versatility as an actress.

In 2007, Vlanti was honored with the esteemed Shooting Stars award at the Berlin Film Festival, celebrating emerging talent. Her portrayal of Silvi in the black comedy "Black Midnight" (2007-2009) further solidified her reputation. After a brief hiatus from television, she starred in the Cypriot series "Seven Heavens and Clouds, Wanderers" in 2012 and made a return to Greek television as a lead in "Asteras Rachoulas" in 2016. Most recently, she appeared in the comedy series "Leave Us Alone, Mom" during the 2021-2022 season, continuing her prolific career in the entertainment industry.
