Heidi Swedberg
Heidi Swedberg, born on March 3, 1966, in Honolulu, Hawaii, is an accomplished American actress best known for her memorable portrayal of Susan Ross, George Costanza's fiancée, on the iconic sitcom Seinfeld. Raised in New Mexico, Swedberg graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque before immersing herself in the performing arts at the Actor's Theatre of Louisville in Kentucky.
Her acting career began to flourish in 1989 with her debut in Norman Jewison's film In Country. This was followed by appearances in several notable films, including Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael and Kindergarten Cop in 1990, and Too Much Sun and Hot Shots! in 1991. Swedberg also showcased her talent on television, guest-starring in series such as Matlock, Thirtysomething, Quantum Leap, and Northern Exposure.
Swedberg's most significant television role came when she joined the cast of Seinfeld, appearing in 11 episodes during the fourth season, 17 episodes in the seventh, and a flashback appearance in the ninth season. In addition to her work on Seinfeld, she made guest appearances on Wizards of Waverly Place as Jennifer Majorheely.
Throughout the 1990s, she continued to make her mark in the television landscape with roles in Empty Nest, Murder, She Wrote, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
