Thengai Srinivasan (October 21, 1937 – November 9, 1988) was a celebrated Indian actor and renowned comedian, primarily recognized for his contributions to Tamil cinema during the 1970s and early 1980s. The moniker "Thengai," meaning coconut, was bestowed upon him following his notable portrayal of a coconut vendor in the play Kal Manam, directed by the esteemed actor K. Kannan.
