Gary Shider

Garry Marshall Shider (July 24, 1953 – June 16, 2010) was a prominent American musician and guitarist, best remembered for his influential role as the musical director of the P-Funk All-Stars. Shider's career spanned several decades, during which he became a key figure in the funk genre, known for his innovative guitar work and distinctive musical style that blended elements of funk, rock, and soul.

Shider's contributions to music were solidified when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, alongside fifteen other legendary members of the Parliament-Funkadelic collective.
