Tina Kellegher

Tina Kellegher is an accomplished Irish actress, born in Dublin in 1967. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Niamh Quigley in the beloved BBC series Ballykissangel. In addition to her television work, Tina has established herself as a prominent voice on BBC Radio 4, where she featured as policewoman Tina Mahon in the initial four seasons of the drama Baldi.

Tina is happily married to Gordon Wycherley, a location manager known for his work on Ballykissangel and other notable projects. Together, they are the parents of two sons: Michael, born in 2003, and Brian, born in 2007. Her family connection to Ballykissangel continues, as her brother-in-law is Don Wycherley, another star from the series.

In film, Tina notably starred alongside Colm Meaney in Stephen Frears' 1993 comedy-drama The Snapper, where she portrayed Sharon Curley, a young woman navigating the complexities of an unexpected pregnancy within a working-class Dublin family.

Currently, Tina resides in Mullingar, County Westmeath, where she actively participates in community efforts as a member of the North Westmeath Hospice committee, contributing to local charitable initiatives.
