Penelope Windust
Penelope Marjorie Windust (July 13, 1945 - February 2, 2022) was a distinguished American actress celebrated for her contributions to television, film, and theater. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Kathleen Maxwell in the iconic 1983 miniseries V, which solidified her place in pop culture.
Windust's acting journey commenced on Broadway, where she showcased her talent in the 1967 production of Spofford alongside Melvyn Douglas, followed by her role in the 1972 play Elizabeth I. Throughout her career, she appeared in numerous television films and was featured in notable cinema, including her performances in Ghost Town and Bird, both released in 1988. Her last film appearance came in 2008 with You Don't Mess with the Zohan, marking the end of a vibrant film career.
