Anusree Roy is an accomplished writer, actor, and director, recognized with a nomination for the Governor General's Award and honored with four Dora Awards throughout her career. Her contributions to theatre are significant, featuring notable works such as *Through the Eyes of God*, *Sisters*, *Trident Moon*, *Little Pretty and The Exceptional*, *Sultans of the Street*, *Brothel #9*, *Roshni*, *Letters to My Grandma*, and *Pyaasa*.

In addition to her theatrical achievements, Anusree has made her mark on television, appearing in series like *Remedy* (Global TV), *Killjoys* (SyFy), *Nurses* Seasons 1 & 2 (GlobalTV/NBC), and *Transplant* Season 2 (CTV/NBC/Netflix), as well as in *I Woke Up a Vampire* (Netflix) and *SkyMed* (Paramount+/CBC).

Her accolades include the prestigious K.M. Hunter Award, the RBC Emerging Artist Award, the Carol Bolt Award, and the Siminovitch Protégé Prize. In 2018, she was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Currently, Anusree serves as the commissioned playwright at Tarragon Theatre, where she is developing her new work, *147, 8th Street*. Additionally, she is working on a feature film inspired by her audio play *Sisters* and is directing her short films, *The Birthday Party* and *God’s Plan*, the latter of which won Best Performance and Best Editing at the Windsor International Film Festival. Anusree also shares her expertise as an adjunct professor of playwriting at the University of Toronto and teaches advanced drama to MFA students at the University of British Columbia.
