Daniel Barker

Daniel Stathis Barker, widely recognized by his stage name Damien Slash, was born on January 6, 1987. He is a versatile English comedian, impressionist, actor, voice artist, comedy writer, and musician. Barker gained prominence through his innovative solo character comedy sketch show, *The Damien Slash Mixtape*, which showcases his unique comedic style and creativity.

His artistic journey began on YouTube, where he captivated audiences with his character performances. In addition to his online presence, he lent his voice to various projects, including television commercials, toys, video games, and animated series, showcasing his talent across multiple platforms.

Daniel hails from a family rich in literary heritage; he is the grandson of renowned poets George Barker and Elizabeth Smart and the son of poet Sebastian Barker and psychotherapist Sally Barker. His educational background includes attendance at New End Primary School, Finchley Catholic High School, Camden School for Girls Sixth Form, and the University of Bristol, where he earned a BA degree.

Interestingly, while not of Greek descent, Daniel was baptized in Greece as Greek Orthodox, a connection that arose after his father established a writing retreat in Messenia.
