Patricia Rivadeneira Ruiz-Tagle, born on August 6, 1964, in Santiago, Chile, is a celebrated actress and cultural manager whose impressive career spans over thirty years across theater, film, and television.

Her journey in the television industry began in 1986 with the series "Secreto de familia," where she played the character Soledad Barca. Throughout the 1990s, Rivadeneira emerged as a leading star in Chilean telenovelas, delivering memorable performances in "Trampas y caretas" (1992) as Ana Rosa Astudillo, "Sucupira" (1996) as Regina Lineros, and "Aquelarre" (1999) as Rodolfa Patiño. On the silver screen, she worked with renowned Chilean filmmakers, including Raúl Ruiz in "The Wandering Soap Opera" (1993) and Miguel Littín in "Cinco marineros y un ataúd verde" (2000).

In addition to her acting career, Rivadeneira has made significant contributions to cultural management. From 2001 to 2006, she served as Chile's Cultural Attaché in Italy during President Ricardo Lagos Escobar's administration. Following this, she took on the role of Cultural Director at the Italo-Latin American Institute (IILA) in Rome until 2011. In recognition of her efforts to strengthen cultural connections between Chile and Italy, she received the prestigious Order of the Star of Italy.

More recently, Rivadeneira has made a return to Chilean television, featuring in series like "Perdona nuestros pecados" (2017–2018) as Estela Undurraga, "Juegos de poder" (2019) as Verónica Egaña, and "Demente" (2021) as Flavia Betancourt. Furthermore, she co-founded Escenix, a digital platform for streaming Chilean theater
