P.K. Subban
Pernell-Karl Sylvester "P.K." Subban MSC, born on May 13, 1989, is a prominent Canadian ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League (NHL). Subban made his entry into the league when he was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round, 43rd overall, during the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
His career reached a significant milestone in 2013 when he was honored with the prestigious Norris Trophy, awarded to the NHL's top defenseman, a testament to his outstanding performance on the ice. That same year, he also shared the distinction of being the highest-scoring defenseman with Kris Letang. In 2014, Subban secured a monumental eight-year contract worth $72 million with the Canadiens, which extended through the 2021–22 season.
