Jürgen Rißmann, born in Koblenz, began his artistic journey in Hamburg, where he not only honed his skills in theater acting but also ventured into the world of music as a singer. He showcased his vocal talent as a bass/baritone, performing with several a cappella groups, most notably touring across Europe with the ensembles Gib-8! and Groove Chor. His musical journey continued in Cologne, where he spent three years with the a cappella group Choirblax.

Rißmann's acting career includes numerous supporting roles in popular German crime dramas such as *Tatort*, *SOKO Köln*, and *Wilsberg*, as well as various television productions. He gained significant recognition for his role as Joachim Witte, a civil servant from the public order office, in the reality-comedy documentary series *Alles in Ordnung – Mit dem Wahnsinn auf Streife* on Pro7.

In film, Rißmann made his mark in 2006 with the movie *Lieben* and followed it up with a role in the 2007 parody *Ein Fall für KBBG*. He also made a memorable guest appearance as a janitor in the acclaimed series *Stromberg*.
