Fernanda Paes Leme
Fernanda Paes Leme, born on June 4, 1983, is a prominent Brazilian actress and television presenter known for her versatile performances and engaging on-screen presence. She made her television debut in 1998 with the hit series Sandy & Júnior, where she portrayed Patty, a humorous and extravagant antagonist. Despite being offered significant roles in acclaimed productions like Laços de Família and the miniseries Presença de Anita, she was unable to accept due to commitments to the series.
In 2003, Fernanda starred as Karina in her first soap opera, Agora É que São Elas, while also appearing in the beloved children's show Sítio do Picapau Amarelo. Her role as Nieta Bazarov in the 2004 soap opera Da Cor do Pecado marked her entry into more complex characters. However, it was her portrayal of Rosário, an illegal immigrant pursuing the American dream in América (2005), that truly established her as a dramatic talent.
Fernanda continued to excel with roles such as the seductive Irene Brandão in Insensato Coração (2011) and Márcia, a lieutenant in Salve Jorge (2012). In 2013, she expanded her skills by directing music videos for renowned artists like Lulu Santos and Luiza Possi. Transitioning to presenting, she hosted the first season of the talent show Superstar in 2014, followed by GNT series Amor Veríssimo and Odeio Segundas. After nearly two decades with Rede Globo, she concluded her tenure there in 2016 and joined Band to present the Brazilian version of The X Factor, although she exited the network in 2017 when the show's second season was canceled.
