Isabelle Mann
Isabelle Mann is a dynamic film and theatre actress renowned for her versatility and passion for the performing arts. Born in Göttingen, Germany, to educators Friedlinde (Helweg) and Karlotto Mann, she spent her formative years in Wiesbaden before experiencing a bilingual upbringing in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she became fluent in both English and German.
Mann honed her craft at the Reduta Acting and Drama School in Berlin, graduating in 2002. Her professional journey began on the stages of Berlin and Bremen, where her love for theatre flourished. She made her film debut as the lead in the horror film ‘Der Kali Prozess,’ collaborating with acclaimed director Andreas Marschall.
In 2006, she relocated to Tel Aviv, Israel, where she performed in various productions at the Jewish Arab Theatre and the esteemed Susan Dellal Theatre. From 2009 to 2011, she worked with Robert Castle at the International Theatre New York, reuniting with him for projects in 2024 and 2025.
Mann garnered recognition for her role in the award-winning film ‘37,’ earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 2015 Maverick Movie Awards. Other notable works include the international feature ‘Hello Au Revoir’ and the ARD series ‘Praxis mit Meerblick.’ In 2021, she joined the cast of Germany's hit series ‘Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten.’
Her latest project, the arthouse film ‘The Food on the Table,’ premiered at the prestigious Berlinale in 2024. That same year, she starred in the short film 'The Cross,' produced by Tomisin Adepeju in London. Continuously refining her skills, Mann studies American acting techniques with renowned coaches and currently divides her time between London and Berlin.
