Cathryn Bradshaw, born on January 13, 1964, in Blackpool, England, is a talented actress celebrated for her impactful performances, particularly in the BBC drama, *Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit*. Raised in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, she honed her craft at Breck School before training at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she graduated in 1987 alongside notable contemporaries like Louise Plowright and Mark Strong.

Her career began in 1988 with a role as the Princess in *The Storyteller*. The following year, she made an appearance in *Inspector Morse* in the episode "The Secret of Bay 5B" and starred in the comedy musical film *Bert Rigby, You're a Fool* alongside prominent actors Robert Lindsay and Robbie Coltrane.
