Drew Moore, born on December 20, 1965, in Nashville, Tennessee, hails from a lineage of ministers within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). His passion for performing arts ignited at the young age of 12 when he began taking acting classes, quickly transitioning to professional theater, television, and commercials in the area. Following his graduation in 1988, he collaborated with high school friends to launch the inaugural Nashville Shakespeare Festival, where he captivated audiences as Orlando in "As You Like It."

Drew’s foundational training in the dramatic arts included studies at the Nashville Academy Theater, The Acting Studio at Northwestern University, and the British-American Drama Academy in London. In his late 20s, he temporarily stepped back from acting to pursue an academic career, ultimately earning a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the City University of New York. He shared his knowledge by teaching English and Classics at prestigious institutions such as West Point and Brooklyn College.
