**Julie Engelbrecht Biography**
Julie Engelbrecht, born in Paris, is a talented actress recognized for her dynamic performances across film and television. She is the daughter of renowned actress Constanze Engelbrecht and made her acting debut at the young age of 12 in the 1996 television film *Adieu, mon ami*. To hone her craft, Engelbrecht studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg from 2004 to 2007.
Her breakthrough came with the miniseries *Mutig in die neuen Zeiten* (2005–2006), where she portrayed Valerie Ulmendorff. This role earned her a nomination for the prestigious Undine Award in 2007 for Best Young Actress in a TV film. Engelbrecht continued to build her career with notable performances, including Johanna Palmquist in the 2008 TV movie *Rasmus and Johanna*, part of the beloved Inga Lindström series, and Ilse in the film *The Red Baron* in the same year.
In 2009, she showcased her versatility by playing high jumper Elisabeth 'Lilly' Vogt in *Berlin 36*, followed by her role as Lisa in the ARD adaptation of *Rumpelstilzchen*. Engelbrecht also starred as Maren Elkberg in the 2011 TV film *Die Hochzeit meines Mannes*, another project linked to the Inga Lindström series, and portrayed the young ballerina Anna Castell in *Die Tänzerin – Lebe deinen Traum*.
