**Ben Loggins: A Multifaceted Talent in Film Production**
Ben Loggins is a seasoned professional in the film industry, holding various roles, including Executive Supervising Producer, Producer, First Unit Director, Second Unit Director, 1st Assistant Director, Stunt Coordinator, and Stuntman. His journey began in the 1970s after earning a BBA and completing postgraduate studies in mortgage banking and finance. Initially, he founded and managed a successful commercial mortgage banking and real estate development firm. A chance reunion with a childhood friend working in film inspired him to pivot careers, leading him to sell his company and embrace the entertainment industry.
Loggins initially broke into film as a Stuntman and Special Effects Technician, quickly progressing to Stunt Coordinator and Second Unit Director. Over the past four decades, he has earned the affectionate nickname “Papa Bear” from colleagues due to his extensive experience and leadership on set. Loggins plays a critical role in the Development Stage of filmmaking, overseeing shooting schedules, budgets, and financial packages, while also ensuring productions run smoothly during shooting and post-production.
His impressive filmography includes notable projects such as *Selena*, *Dallas*, *Walker Texas Ranger*, *RoboCop*, *Miss Congeniality*, and award-winning films like *Tender Mercies* and *Boys Don’t Cry*. He has also contributed to acclaimed series such as *The Walking Dead* and *The Chosen*.
