James Bradford English Sr. (January 16, 1942 – October 25, 2024) was a distinguished American character actor celebrated for his impactful performances across both film and television. He gained significant recognition within the horror genre for his portrayal of John Strode in the 1995 cult classic, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.
