Jirayu La-ongmanee, affectionately known by his nickname Kao, was born on October 29, 1995, in Thailand. He embarked on his journey in the entertainment industry at a remarkably young age, starting out in modeling and advertising when he was just five years old. Jirayu pursued his education diligently, earning a bachelor's degree from the College of Social Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University, followed by a master's degree from the School of Communication Arts at Sripatum University.

Jirayu made a name for himself early on, featuring in numerous television series during his childhood. His film career took off with a notable appearance in "King Naresuan" (2007), where he played the role of young Boonthing. However, it was his leading performances in films such as "Phobia 2" (2009), "SuckSeed" (2011), and "Seven Something" (2012) that truly propelled him into the spotlight. His talent did not go unnoticed, as he received two nominations for Best Leading Actor at the Suphannahong National Film Awards for his roles in "Phobia 2" and "Last Summer" (2013). Ultimately, he clinched the award for his outstanding performance in "Chiang Khan Story" (2014), solidifying his status as a leading figure in Thai cinema.
