Maria Kallimani, born in 1969 in Aigio, Greece, is a distinguished figure in the fields of theater and film. She pursued her academic interests in Archaeology and Art History at the University of Athens, where she laid a solid foundation for her artistic career. Further honing her craft, Kallimani trained at the Higher Drama School of the theater organization "Morphes" under the auspices of the Embros Theater.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with notable directors across various prestigious platforms, including the Free Stage, the National Theater, and the Athens and Epidaurus Festival. Kallimani's versatility is evident in her work in both short and feature films, as well as television series.

Her outstanding performance in the film *Sto Spiti*, directed by A. Karanikolas, earned her the Best Actress Award from the Film Academy in 2015. She has also received nominations for her roles in *Macheteer* by G. Economides, *Notias* by T. Boulmetis, and *Kreas* by D. Nakos, with an additional nomination for Best Supporting Actress for *Ibi pou Zoume* by S. Goritsa.

In recent years, Kallimani has appeared in popular television series such as *Agries Melisses*, *Oi Pantheoi*, and *Milky Way*. She is set to star in the anticipated series *The Innocents*, which will premiere on Mega in fall 2025. This year, she took part in T.
