Vijayakumar

Vijayakumar is a prominent Indian actor and politician, renowned for his contributions to Tamil cinema. His acting journey began in 1961 when he made his debut as a child artist in the film *Sri Valli*. However, it was during the 1970s that he truly captured the public's attention. He transitioned to leading roles with the 1974 film *Aval Oru Thodar Kathai*, followed by notable performances in *Madhurageetham* (1977) and *Azhage Unnai Aarathikkiren* (1979).

Over the years, Vijayakumar expanded his repertoire by appearing in films across various languages, including Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu. His television presence is equally impressive, with significant roles in popular serials such as *Thangam*, *Vamsam*, *Talambralu*, and *Nandini*.
