Under his leadership, SCORE has become synonymous with prestigious events such as the Baja 1000, Baja 500, San Felipe 250, Primm 300, Laughlin Desert Challenge, and the Las Vegas Terrible’s Cup.

Fish’s journey in motorsports began in 1970 when he first raced in Mexico. His entrepreneurial venture into desert racing took off in 1973 after he was recruited by Mickey Thompson, the founder of SCORE International. Fish’s innovative contributions have significantly shaped the organization, including the establishment of class rules and rigorous safety protocols. His efforts helped elevate the Baja 1000 into a globally recognized motorsport spectacle.

In 1985, Fish played a pivotal role in unifying the sport by facilitating a combined racing series with Walt Lott and the High Desert Racing Association (HDRA).
