Piret Krumm
Piret Krumm (born January 20, 1989) is an Estonian actress, singer, and comedian whose career spans stage, screen, and voice work. Raised in Tallinn by her mother, actress and singer Katrin Karisma, and stepfather, opera singer Hendrik Krumm, she adopted his surname as a child. Her father, Tõnu Kilgas, was also a performer, and her half-siblings include jazz vocalist Hedvig Hanson.
Krumm studied acting at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under Elmo Nüganen, graduating in 2012 alongside notable classmates including Priit Pius, Märt Pius, and Pääru Oja. She joined the Estonian Drama Theatre after graduation, remaining there until 2017 when she became a freelance performer.
Her film debut came in 2017 with the drama *Mehetapja/Süütu/Vari*, directed by Sulev Keedus, followed by a role in *Keti lõpp*. In 2019, she appeared in the comedy *Klassikokkutulek 3: Ristiisad*, and in 2020 starred in *Hüvasti, NSVL*. The following year, she took a leading role in the youth comedy *Öölapsed*.
Krumm has also lent her voice to Estonian dubs of major animated films, including *Inside Out* (2015), *Despicable Me 3* (2017), and *Sipsik* (2020). In 2017, she served as a jury panelist for Eesti Laul, and in 2019 co-hosted the competition.
Alongside actress Katariina Tamm, she has performed comedy sketches and monologues since 2013. Krumm also sings for the retro-pop band Diskofon and runs a café in Tallinn.
