Nick Fyffe, born on 14 October 1972, is an accomplished English bassist recognized for his tenure with the iconic funk band Jamiroquai. He joined the group in 1998, succeeding Stuart Zender, and contributed significantly to their chart-topping hit "Deeper Underground," as well as their acclaimed 1999 album, *Synkronized*. Interestingly, Fyffe was in the process of auditioning for a Jamiroquai tribute band when he received the opportunity to join the original band. His time with Jamiroquai lasted until 2003, during which he recorded and toured extensively.

After departing from Jamiroquai, Fyffe turned to education, taking on lecturing roles at various colleges. He also collaborated with electronic music outfit The Shapeshifters and the blues rock band The Temperance Movement, which released its debut album on 16 September 2013, followed by *White Bear* in 2016 and *A Deeper Cut* in 2018.

An active participant in charitable endeavors, Fyffe regularly contributes to 'The Sunflower Jam', a charity concert series that funds alternative medicine in NHS hospitals. Since the event's inception in 2006, he has performed alongside notable artists including Robert Plant and Deep Purple.

A graduate of Chichester College, Fyffe is also related to the early-20th-century entertainer Will Fyffe. In October 2009, he toured the US with Thenewno2, featuring Dhani Harrison, and played on their debut album, *You Are Here*. Additionally, in May 2011, he filled in for Deep Purple's Roger Glover during a short series of concerts.
